Yoga |

Vanessa Tate Vanessa was introduced to yoga, eight years ago, by a Kripalu teacher, while living in Boston. She loved the molding of spirituality and physical movement, which spurred her to explore other forms of yoga. While living in Chicago, she practiced at an Iyengar school and with basic hatha teachers. Looking for a more rigorous yoga practice after returning home to Kansas City, Vanessa began teaching herself Power Vinyasa with influences from Marc Blanchard and Bryan Kest. She soon met teachers Kathleen Kastner and Patricia Gray and found a yoga practice most close to her heart, Ashtanga. A love for people, teaching and her daily practice, motivated her to complete an intensive Ashtanga yoga teacher training with David Swenson in Berkley, California this past Spring. |
