A: Configuring the Start Menu
a.. Open the start menu with the Windows Key or Control + Escape
b.. Cursor down to "Settings" and Press Enter.
c.. Cursor down to "Taskbar and start menu" and press enter.
d.. Tab to the checkbox labeled "use personalized menus".
e.. Press the spacebar to uncheck this option.
f.. Press Enter.
B: Configuring My Computer and Windows Explorer to display a list
a.. Press Windows Key + E to open Windows Explorer.
b.. Open the view menu.
c.. Cursor down to "list" and press enter.
d.. Open the Tools menu with Alt + T
e.. By default, the focus of the cursor will be placed on a set of
radio buttons.
f.. Use the down arrow to select the "Use Windows classic desktop".
g.. Press the tab key one time to move on to the next set of radio
buttons.
h.. Use the down arrow to select the "Use Windows Classic folders"
radio button.
i.. Press the tab key one time.
j.. Use the up arrow to select "open each folder in the same Window".
k.. Press the tab key one time.
l.. Press the down arrow to select "Double click an item to open
(single click to select).
m.. Press the Control + Tab keyboard command to access the "view"
property sheet.
n.. Press the spacebar on the button labeled "like current folder"
and then press the letter "Y" to answer yes.
o.. Press the tab key twice to access the tree view.
p.. Press the letter "S" until the checkbox labeled "show pop-up
descriptions for folder and desktop items". This option should be unchecked.
q.. Tab to "OK" and press enter.
