Note: Added 8/16/01 -- I just called Nikon Tech and they said that Viking compact flash cards are not recommended for the Coolpix. Although the Viking is technically compatable, many people (like me!) find that they don't work with the Coolpix. Nikon recommends the Sandisk or Lexar brands of Compact Flash memory.
Note: Added 8/31/01 -- Someone from the Nikon Coolpix email list suggested that I try reformatting the compact flash in the camera instead of the card reader. The card has been working fine for me since this was done.
Note: Added 10/16/01 -- Rebate offer for October has begun. I read in the review section that Viking is behind in their rebate delivery. FWIW, I'm still waiting for my rebate.

camera!
