If you are a Disney
Resort Guest then you are allowed to enter the Walt Disney World theme parks 1½
hours before the slated park opening time. Early bird days take place seven days a week
and are on a rotational basis.
- The Magic Kingdom
Monday, Thursday, Saturday
- Epcot
Tuesday and Friday
- Disney-MGM Studios
Wednesday and Sunday
- Animal Kingdom
Because of the parks already
early opening hours (8am) there are no plans to expand this program to include Animal
Kingdom.

early bird days only selected attractions are open, as well as restaurants for breakfast.
The following is a list of attractions and restaurants that are open during early bird
days. These are subject to change without notice.
If you are planning to go to an "Early Bird" day you should have your Resort
Identification Cards, because they are needed to get on the busses and into the parks.
Service for busses, ferries, and monorails begin two hours before the official opening
time. |
What attractions are open during Early Bird Mornings?
- The Magic Kingdom - Space Mountain, Tomorrowland Transit Authority,
Alien Encounter, Tomorrowland Speedway, Peter Pan's Flight, It's A Small World, Dumbo, the
Flying Elephant, Cinderella's Golden Carrousel, Tomorrowland Light & Power Company.
- Epcot - Spaceship Earth,
The Living Seas, Honey, I Shrunk the Audience, The Land.
- Disney-MGM Studios - The
Twilight Zone Tower of Terror, Star Tours,
The Great Movie Ride.
What restaurants are open for
breakfast?
- The Magic Kingdom - The
Little Big Top, Cinderella's Royal Table, Crystal Place, Main Street Bakery, Cafe' Italiano.
- Epcot - Sunshine Season Food Fair, Garden Grill, Fountain View Espresso & Bakery, Pasta Piazza
