Entrance to TomorrowlandAs you make your way into Tomorrowland you will see the look of a city as imagined by science fiction writers in the 1920s and 1930s such as Jules Verne and H.G. Wells. Tomorrowland is home to some of the Magic Kingdom's scariest attractions including the ExtraTERRORestrial Alien Encounter and Space Mountain. Shops in Tomorrowland sell a variety of Disney character merchandise, futuristic merchandise, souvenir hats, and of course Alien Encounter merchandise.

The ExtraTERRORestrial Alien Encounter
Alien EncounterThis new attraction located in the Tomorrowland Interplanetary Convention Center takes guests into a new era of theme park attractions. Guests will first be lead into a room where they will be shown a video presentation presented by X-S Tech which is a corporation from another planet whose main objective is to impress Magic Kingdom guests. Next you are lead into another room where the presentation begins. Guests are told of a new product which is capable of sending people, aliens, or objects from one place to another. Next, it's time for the presentation in which Clench (the chairman of X-S Tech who tells guests of this new product) will be transported from his home planet to meet all the guests, when something Alien Encountergoes wrong and instead of Clench appearing in the room a monster appears and with some great special effects it feels like the monster is actually in the room with you. Some of the special effects include breath around the your neck, a rattle also around your neck and some great sound and light effects. Finally, the X-S Tech company regains control and the attraction is over. The attraction lasts for about 20 minutes but by the time you get out you may think you were in there for an hour.
HEIGHT RESTRICTIONS: 48" and at least seven years old.

The Timekeeper
The Timekeeper PhotoHere guests join The Timekeeper (voiced by Robin Williams) and his assistant 9-Eye (a flying robot camera voiced by Rhea Perlman) for a thrilling twenty minute film presented in Circle Vision 360. The attraction itself takes guests in a time machine which was invented by The Timekeeper through time. Guests will hear Mozart in his first composition, see Leonardo da Vinci working on his masterpiece, take a bobsled ride down a mountain, and you will also meet Jules Verne, and H.G. Wells. All this traveling combined with the in house special effects and Audio Animatronic characters makes this attraction one of the best at The Magic Kingdom

Buzz Lightyear's Space Ranger Spin
Buzz Lightyear's Ranger SpinEnter the playful world of Toys where you join Buzz Lightyear on a daring mission to save the universe. Piloting your own XP-38 Space Cruisers, you spin though various scenes scaled to the size of toys. Vehicles are fitted with a joystick steering mechanism and twin laser cannons. It's an interactive outer space adventure taking kids of all ages "To infinity and beyond!" Above is a rendering for the first scene in the new attraction.

Tomorrowland Speedway
The Tomorrowland SpeedwayThe Tomorrowland Speedway sends guests around the 2,260 foot long track in Mark VII-model gasoline-powered cars. The cars go about seven miles per hour, and the children seem to love to get behind the wheel of their very own race car.
HEIGHT RESTRICTION: You must be at least 44" and at least seven years old to ride alone.

Tomorrowland Transit Authority
The Tomorrowland Transit Authority takes you on a voyage around Tomorrowland in five-car trains powered by motors that are located below the track, you also get a sneak peak at a few Tomorrowland attractions such as Space Mountain.

Walt Disney's Carousel of Progress
Walt Disney's Carousel of ProgressOriginally developed for the 1964-65 New York World's Fair, this attraction found it's way to Disneyland where it was closed after six years of operation, and then moved to Walt Disney World. This attraction shows where we have been as a society over the years from before when we did not have electricity to the near future. The attraction features an entire cast of Audio Animatronic figures that are very lifelike. The theme song to this attraction is "There's A Great Big Beautiful Tomorrow."

Astro Orbiter
Astro OrbiterHere guests get to fly in miniature rockets that are up real high and spin in circles for about two minutes. Guests can control the up and down movements of their rocket.
TIP: This attraction is much better experienced at night, and it's even better if there are fireworks going on.

Skyway to Fantasyland
Skyway to FantasylandHere guests travel in four-passenger buckets that are suspended in the air by a 2,400 foot long cable between Tomorrowland and Fantasyland. This attraction is one-way only and can be skipped if your in a rush, but it is good idea to take a ride if you want some nice aerial views of The Magic Kingdom or you just don't feel like walking to Fantasyland.

Space Mountain
Space MountainAt 180 feet tall and 300 feet in diameter, Space Mountain is one of the Magic Kingdom's foremost attractions.  Space Mountain is a roller coaster that takes place indoors in six-passenger rockets and in total darkness.  What makes Space Mountain one of the best roller coasters around is the fact that you never know when a turn is coming up or a drop is approaching.  Speeds on Space Mountain reach as fast as 28 m.p.h..
HEIGHT RESTRICTION: You must be at least 44" tall and be at least 7 years old to experience the thrill of Space Mountain.
ANNUAL REHAB: Space Mountain will be closed from January 10 through February 13 for its annual rehab.
