In 2002 I joined the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society’s "Team In Training" to help raise funds for research and the much needed aid. As it turns out, the "once in a lifetime" event has now turned into five.
October 2002: My first Century was the "Tropical Island Century" in Florida! Go to Monthly Newsletter Archives for all the details.
June 2003: My second Century was "America's Most Beautiful Ride" in Lake Tahoe. I was Team Captain for this ride and LOVED it!
October 2003: My third ( and this was "unofficial") Century was the "Seacoast Century" across the east coast ocean front.
June 2004: I was Team Captain again for "America's Most Beautiful Ride" in Lake Tahoe .
June 2005: Once again I was Team Captain for "America's Most Beautiful Ride" in Lake Tahoe.
