What is Modus Operandi?

Modus Operandi is a text based RPG that is set in Morada, a (supposedly) fictional island in the Caribbean. It is set in current time, the year 2000. In the game, you are a tourist, and you are coming to Morada to get away from the stress and hard work of your job on the mainland.

When you first begin, you choose your build, sex, eye color, hair color and style and other physical characteristics. You then choose your profession. You can be either a PI, a Secret Agent, an Amateur Sleuth, a Paranormal Investigator, a Coroner, an Academian, an Investigative Reporter, or a Detective.

You begin your journey with a package to deliver, either 500 or 1000 dollars, depending on your profession, and the clothes on your back (very touristy ones too...). Remember to pick up a map on your way north from the arrival pier. Or, even better, get a map from our library. After you learn your way around delivering packages, you can move on to capturing dangerous criminals and solving in-depth mysteries with real characters and plots. Give Modus Operandi a try if you're looking for a different type of game.
