What Makes Miles So Ratty?

Miles was nominated by Jasmine Cronin. Here's why she thinks Miles is like a rat.

"I nominate Miles Bukowski for the most rat-like tourist contest because he has an affinity for squirreling away his possessions (hey, squirrels and rats are both rodents). Not only is his locker door threatening to pop off the hinges, but also some of his friends are having storage cramps from holding items for him. He is definitely a pack rat!"

Miles even voted for himself, saying the following:

"I want to cast my vote for myself because I did NOT win Aubrey's Best Downtown Accuser award. Rats never win the awards they should. We are always being held back by the man."


Others thought that Miles' habit of saving things was a good reason why he should be picked, as well:

Kim Canella said "Miles Bukowski...as a packrat he fits both definitions...1. A North American rat noted for carrying off shiny articles to his nest...and 2. a person who saves useless small items...have you seen his collection?"

Weiland Kurcobain said "I think that Miles is the most rat-like 'cause not only does he carry as many bags as he can (which are packed to the fullest), but his locker is packed too... AND... one time he even stole one of my suitcases just so that he could hold MORE freakin' stuff!"

Gweneth Kurcobain also felt the same way - "I think Miles should be voted most rat-like tourist, because I have never met anyone who hauls around more junk. I met him only a few times and I remember him by what a packrat he is."

Candi Cane's response was even more detailed - "Miles IS a rat. He's a grown version of a rat. One rat I had took little things I dropped on the floor into his little hole and stored it. When we finally smelled something rotting in there we went to clean it out and EVERYTHING was in there. I think Miles is the same, he has a wide variety of useless trinkets and gadgets of all sorts."


Others had more varied reasons:

Bryan Hit - "I vote for Miles Bukowski...mostly because he fits the very definition of a rat, from his buldging locker to his vampire offended twitching nose!"

Kei Milano/Kurcobain - "I vote for Miles cause...hes ratty enough to wear blue snowflake suspenders!"

Melina Miller - "I think Miles is the most Rat-Like person on Morada. Not only does his collection of useless trinkets absolutely astound me, but his personality is so, so, well... rat-like"

Ralf Tyler - "I'm voting for Miles Bukowski for most rat-like tourist, because he is a rat. i hear he makes newbies pay to hunt with him, and then charges them extra to talk to him. not only that, has alot of stupid crap that he carries around. You'd think he was homeless and carrying everything he owns."

Aubrey McMichaels - "He's a rat because I heard him squeak once. :)"

Jasmine Love - "He's a dirty rat"

Kelly Kurcobain - "I vote for Miles! Cuz Miles is really ratty. Did ya get a good look at him lately? Who's more rat-like than Miles?"


Many people just thought Miles was inexplicably rat-like

Danielle Kurcobain - "I couldn't come up with a witty comment as to why I think he should win, but he seemed like the best person for the title."

Kara McLoud - "I wanna vote for Miles. No one on the island is more rat-like than Miles with the possible exception of you, Dave...but we won't go there cuz you're not in the contest. "

Ayzanna Bordeaux - "I vote for Miles because he's just ratty :)"

Gina Farrelll - "Miles is definately a rat. enough said"


Altogether Miles got 19 votes. The Runner up in the contest was Sinder Rose with 13 votes.
