Hello, I thought I would update my summary...we have had some new ideas lately (again not only mine, but those of many others....Jon, Lisa, Ichiko, Armand, Ed, plus several others....). I have added some so read carefully. (New things in quotation marks)

1. A ceremony took place the end of May. The ceremony may have been a ceremony to open the gate to the "otherworld" and allow the loa to cross. Papa Legba is the loa called during the ceremony.

2. The ceremony was disrupted by a group of tourists and may not have been completed. The gate to the "otherworld" may have been left open.

3. Spirits and disembodied voices appeared on the island.

4. We assumed the voices belonged to two people...Granpere told us about Lucia and Ricardo and we latched onto them as the possessors of the voices...one male and one female. Attacks on tourists (Lauren and Audrey) were similar to ones by Ricardo in the past and the roses symbolized Lucia.

5. Kara and Wulf saw a child ghost who was afraid of a woman. Kayla (or some other old timer) told us that a child ghost was once in the attic mansion...she was locked in there during her lifetime.

6. Some of the voices referred to "brotherhood" and reign and taking over our world. Early in the mystery, I considered the fact that they could belong to a Nazi commander that was betrayed and killed on the island.

7. Berenice spoke of two native spirits, Ukilamate and Kokotain who may also be on the island again. Many different spirits...all once on the island...could they have all come through the gate? Could they be seperate voices, not just two? or three? Have we tried to hard to id the spirits that we did not realize they were many? "Ukilimate and Kokotain do respond closely to Ricardo and Lucia...are they the same spirits?"

8. A spanish galleon was sunk off the coast of Morada in the 16th century and contained a ton of treasure never recovered.

9. Months ago, a chest from a sunken ship was stolen from the owner before it could be opened. The owner paid 1 million dollars to recover it and when it was opened, it contained only bridal stuff. What did he think was in there?

10. A second ceremony was conducted. Could this have been to call the loa Agwe, loa of the sea and ships, to have him help find the galleon? Beau may have been possessed by him and then disappeared because he knew where the ship was located...Possessees often recall things from their possession in dreams or as a second person. Also, Delilah implied that Olivia was using her religion...vodoo...for unethical means...to find a sunken treasure???

11. Manifests from the LeReynard Shipping company showed errors and may indicate some kind of smuggling operation. According to Jean, (reporter) unmarked vans and unmarked crates were seen coming in and out of the warehouse on NM.

12. Could Marie and Olivia be smuggling in dive equipment and smuggling out artifacts worth millions?

13. The anklet..Delai, the loa of the tambourines gave Miles an anklet that she said would mean she was with him. Later, the anklet shattered and an almond odor was observed. "We found out later that the almond was from a candy bar Delilah was eating....no poisoning.....The anklet was probably shattered by Delai as a way to seperate herself from Miles and maybe from Delilah...or someone who has more power than Delai."

"14. Ed has found new info about the Minister of Commerce...its long, so I will post it in the next message, but she may be the one behind all of this. To summarize, she is a traditionalist, supports the natives, does not support development and feels that the tourism trade will turn the natives into "slaves to a European community". She is the only traditionalist on the parliment and has run unopposed 15 times, is disliked by Matt, and rumors of voodoo surround her. We are wondering if she could be trying to embarrass the King or scare off the tourists with the voodoo happenings......."

"15. We had visits by spirits again last night...Many people on the island heard the chuckle and saw the shadow....Sorry but I did not log this...We offered the spirits ale and they took it! After accepting about 5 bottles from us, a bottle was thrown against the pub. They left after this. I can see faking ghosts...with hidden sound systems, mirrors (grins), etc....but these spirits took the ale right out of our hands and threw one against the pub.....Also, they seemed to be all over the island...not in specific places....I am personally not sure how this could be faked."

"16. Last night, at about 8pm, Ruby Vance was checking out the ceremony site (chicken site) and could not get through the bushes...she clawed but was not allowed in there. When she looked, she saw nothing. The only times in the past when we were not allowed back there, a ceremony was about to begin or in progress....Anyone get any "feelings" or something to clue them that something was happening at that time (est)? I was not here. Could have been another ceremony...Interestingly, later we saw and heard the above spirits."

"17. Friday night, Ed, Selina, Jess and others, saw a green mist in the art school in FQ that turned to a flame...they also saw a rat on the ceiling...not sure how that fits in.....they heard screams as well...On Saturday night, I and others saw a blue mist in the cantina that became very cold. We heard sobs outside and then screams of terror to the south..A search turned up nothing."

Okay, my thoughts again...please add to these or disagree if you wish....I am very open to other ideas and do not care if you criticize these ideas...just give alternatives. Thanks for reading this!!
