Linda at the age of three as she looked just before she became ill. Linda is shown here with her brother, Cary, father, Harold, and sister, Kimberly. |
Linda as she looked when she left the hospital after her first series of chemotherapy treatment for leukemia. You can see her swollen face from the prednisone. She was about three and a half years old. My father, Osborne Winslow, took the photograph in his back yard. Linda is holding a croquet mallet. My father recalls how she would fail to hit the ball and then pick it up and roll it under the hoop. |

Linda when she was four. Harold was working for the American Baptist Publication Society as Retail Sales Manager. He thought the photo was so cute he took it to work and showed it off. The American Baptist Assembly liked it so much they used it in their Green Lake promotional brochure the next season. Linda was helping us by bringing Kim's bunny and diapers into the house. |
