SEASONS OF ROMANCE

In this  group of romantic landscapes, Rothwell shapes the negative spaces  into a pair of lovers.   Separated by  trees or hillsides in Spring, Summer and Autumn she has united them into a tree in  "Winter".   This series is a work in progress.   Watch for more seasons to come.

Most of these images are multiple-plate color etchings, printed from 6"x 9"plates, matted and  framed 15"x18".  Priced individually at $85 matted or $115 framed. 

For "Romance II" the artist has altered the key plate from "Summer" to be inked in a single color with a second color rolled on the surface.
