Too late to name the background tune. It was identified as
"Manhattan Serenade," by Louis Alter and Harold Adamson (Robbins Music Corporation - 1928)

...The picture you see here was taken at our home in
Maryland. No personal web page would be complete without showing the couple
behind it. The black cat is Becky. See below for
close-up pictures of our cats. The pictures are best viewed
at 256 colors or more (65K colors preferred). Eugene is a Computer Specialist for the US Government; a former astrodynamicist,
electronics engineer, musician, and aviator; and still an avid
Amateur Radio operator.
Joan is the Assistant Manager of a Golf Course; a reader of hundreds of books;
a lover of fine food and restaurants; a piano player; and a former
aviatrix.

Here is a picture of

We have two wonderful cats (sisters born in February 1994) which were adopted
from the local
Montgomery County
SPCA.

...This is Becky, a really calm cat. She is sitting on the refrigerator where she goes
to avoid Gigi.
|
...This is Gigi, gray and tan and creative. She likes to drink water from the bathroom
faucet and to chase Becky through the house.
