BACHI!
I was contacted in late
2003 by activist Marsha Rose Joyner of Honolulu. She had a project in mind
for me to illustrate her new story, "Bachi!". It is a tale which is part
fantasy and part fact. - a tale which is the journey of one man who has
been affected by the BRAVO hydrogen bomb blast of 1954. I found this story
to be very unusual and very rich in imagery. I was also attracted to the
unusual subject matter and unusual treatment, although most of the book
is not of an erotic nature (there are some very tender erotic scenes.)
In memorial of the 50th anniversary of the BRAVO blast and in honor of
those who have been affected by nuclear testing all over the world, you
may see the illustrations I produce for her e-book, for a short time only.
If you have further questions as to how you can obtain a copy of the story,
please feel free to visit Marsha's site and order it. Her site is fascinating
and worth a good long look. You will never find a more loving or more enthusiastic
correspondent.
