What Services We Provide and What We Translate/Interpret

We provide services of professional translators and interpreters (including interpreters for simultaneous interpretation) with the following source/target languages:
  • English
  • Polish
  • Russian
  • Ukrainian
We have translated/interpreted almost anything one can think of: from Bible studies to business seminars, from private letters to highly technical manuals. So it will not be an exaggeration to say that we translate and interpret everything

Who Are the Translators/Interpreters

All translators/interpreters have a graduate degree in linguistics and five or more years of experience. Each translator/interpreter specializes in certain subjects, so he/she not only "can speak the language", but also "knows what it is all about".

For some more "big names", please, visit the About EuroScope page (the list is far from complete, but it will give you some idea about our customer base).

Where Interpreters Are Available

Interpreters are available anywhere in Ukraine. If necessary, we can send them to virtually any place in Eastern Europe and the former USSR.

Translation services are available world-wide.

How Long Does It Take (to translate a document)

Anything from overnight to several months. Actual time - as well as cost - depends not only on the size, subject, level of difficulty of the document, but also on whether the document can be split between two or more translators under one editor (to ensure style and terminology consistency) or not, formatting requirements, and lots of other factors.

We usually give pretty accurate time estimate once you provide the following:

  • source and target languages;
  • source media: hard copy (paper) or electronic media (please, specify format);
  • size of the source document (pages, average number of words and characters per page)
  • at least one sample page for every 50 pages of the source document over 100 pages or for every 20 pages of the source document less than 100 pages (if your source document is just a short letter, simply send it to us);
  • deadline(s);
  • target format requirements (no hard copies, except for letters to Ukraine).
Please, feel free to write
IMPORTANT: Please, do not e-mail scanned pages. If your source document exists only in hard copy format, you may EITHER fax the sample pages OR scan and save them in jpeg/gif format, put the images into a public directory accessible from the Internet (via http or ftp) and e-mail us their URLs.

How Much Does It Cost

Translation
An average page (paper size: letter; margins: 1, 1, 1.25 and 1.25 in; font: Times New Roman 12) has about 450 words (in English) and 2,500 characters. To translate it from English into Russian costs $54 (slightly more for other languages). Rush fees, as well as difficulty and format charges, may apply.

One-time minimum assignment is $50.

This may give you only some general idea about the prices. Actual cost - as well as time - depends on multiple factors, so, if you would like to get a more accurate estimate, please, provide the following information:

  • source and target languages;
  • source media: hard copy (paper) or electronic media (please, specify format);
  • size of the source document (pages, average number of words and characters per page)
  • at least one sample page for every 50 pages of the source document over 100 pages or for every 20 pages of the source document less than 100 pages (if your source document is just a short letter, simply send it to us);
  • deadline(s);

Interpretation
$20 per hour ($45 for simultaneous interpretation).
One-time minimum assignment - four hours (on the same day). Four-hour minimum available only in major cities. At other locations a full-day (eight hours) minimum applies.

Assignments at some locations may entail additional travel expenses.
