Junior Church
Our
Junior Church was touched by the events of September 11, 2001 and we wish to
show our grief for the victims and heroes of Washington and New York City. We
have prepared a bundle of thank you cards and are sending them to those cities
as we send our prayers for this nation and the affected families to our Father
and Lord Jesus Christ. Please click this link to view the cards our children
have prepared. As you look at the cards, please join your prayers for this
nation with ours.
A Christian Prayer for Our Nation.
Our Junior Church program ministers to children between kindergarten and the sixth grade. We have found that these age groups are often better served in Junior Church than in the regular worship service. We tailor the message to their age group and encourage participation from all the children.
To
help encourage participation from the children, we have a fluid lesson plan
that allows for many new and exciting lesson formats. The children all
participate in group singing and marching, group prayer request and praise
time. Our lessons feature regular Bible readings (lead by the kids) to
accompany the lessons. The lessons may be drawings and sketches made by the
teacher, skits with the kids acting parts, or a relevant movie. We also spend a
lot of time and effort with projects for the children to build.
Take
a look at the kids enjoying the “Bible” song.

Here
they are preparing for a lesson and telling Mrs. Rosa their prayer requests.
