**Space is very limited! If you park in the first parking lot park perpendicular to the pond and tie to the trailer or set up a very small corral. People parking next to the pond must leave space for the horses to get between there trailer and the pond.  NO EXEPTIONS! Corrals and electric fences allowed in the second lot.  No electric fences in the first lot!

THIS RIDE GOVERNED BY THE 2008 AERC RULES. ALL RIDERS SHOULD BE FAMILIAR AND COMPLY WITH SUCH RULES.

1. Any breed of horse or mule is welcome. The animal must be at least 5 years old to enter the 50 mile, and 4 years old for the 25 mile ride.

2. Animals should be shod. Pads and easy boots are permitted. Any tack is OK.

3. All horses should check in Friday evening, before dark, if possible.

4. Junior riders must remain with sponsor throughout the ride. ALL junior riders MUST wear approved protective head gear! Junior riders must remain within sight and hearing range of the sponsor at all times.

5. All animals are subject to saliva, blood or urine tests by vet. No animal will be allowed to ride without vet approval.

6. No minimum riding time. Maximum total time: 25 miles: 6 hr 50 miles: 12 hr

7. First to finish and meet criteria in 50 mile ride is declared winner. Winner of the 25 mile ride is based on condition of horse, time, and weight of rider. HORSES MUST BE FIT TO CONTINUE TO RECEIVE COMPLETION!!

8. The campsite is very nice, with pond water readily available. Bring your own drinking water, food, hay, and sleeping accommodations. Outhouses only.

10. Ride management reserves the right to remove any person who is disruptive to the ride or endangers the safety of others.

11. DOGS MUST BE ON A LEASH AT ALL TIMES!

12. ALL horses in camp must have a negative Coggins within 1 year!

AWARDS: 50: BEST CONDITION, BEST VET SCORE, FIRST TO FINISH, FIRST TIME RIDER, WEIGHT DIVISIONS, TURTLE. 25: BEST CONDITION.

DIRECTIONS: Take Hwy 75 in downtown Okmulgee.

Go west on 56 8 miles. You will pass a spillway

on your left and the Game Management

Area #1 on your right. DO NOT TURN HERE!

Go on 4 more miles and turn right on Dentonville Rd.

(paved). Go 2 miles N to Lincoln Rd*, then 3+ miles E.

Go 1/2 mile N to Game Management

Entrance#4 (on left). From the West, take

HWY 56 out of Okemah. From the NORTH, take

Hwy 16 W from 75. Turn left at Alt. 75. Go 1.5 miles, yield right on Lincoln Rd. 3 1/2 miles to camp, on right. IF COMING FROM THE NORTH, CALL OR E-MAIL FIRST, THIS ROAD FLOODS!
