into the history of the far distant past of our Universe. This image of the NGC 4005 Galaxy Group in LEO, shows the death of a star in member galaxy NGC 3987, from a time long long ago, in a galaxy, far far away.

The ST9E CCD image, to the left, of SN2000ck in IC-4355 is a repeat of the one above taken the previous evening. This repeat image was taken at f/10 vice f/7, in order to reduce the field of view and improve resolution, for this very small and remote galaxy. |
