ProfilesFrank J. Brill, Jr. is president of Brill Public Affairs , a lobbying, pubic relations and environmental issues management firm located near the State Capitol Complex in Trenton, New Jersey. For the past 20 years, Mr. Brill has represented the interests of numerous national and New Jersey companies and trade associations before the State Legislature and with various regulatory agencies. He was instrumental in gaining economic deregulation for the solid waste hauling industry and has secured many important legislative, regulatory and public relations victories for Fortune 500 and New Jersey based businesses and trade associations. He has represented clients in a wide variety of fields, including petroleum refining, industrial metal and battery recycling, solid waste management, site remediation, health care, plumbing and air conditioning contracting, auto leasing, and nutritional food retailing. A graduate of Temple University and an Army Vietnam veteran, Mr. Brill began his career in New Jersey as assistant city editor of the Elizabeth Daily Journal and later served as suburban editor and city editor at The (Trenton) Times . For two years, he wrote a monthly column on State issues for the Business Journal of New Jersey .
Frank B. Holman , the former Republican State Chairman, is senior advisor to the firm. Mr. Holman served as GOP State Chairman during the bulk of former Governor Tom Kean's eight-year tenure. He was named by governor Kean as executive director of the New Jersey Turnpike Authority in 1988 and left the post two years later top open a political consulting firm. Since then, Mr. Holman has been active with a number of successful Republican Assembly and Senate campaigns and also served as a key advisor during former Governor Christine Todd Whitman's two campaigns. Mr. Holman served as chief executive officer of the Ocean County Freeholder Board from 1976 to 1982 and also maintained a distinguished 37-year parallel career in the Air Force from which he retired as Brigadier General.
