The RBD Drive Motors with power and output speeds between 6600 - 9300 RPM (no load) and 2700 - 5300 RPM ( under load ), can be used for many applications
where transition from low to high speeds are required. Operating with only three major moving parts, simplicity is the key to the motors suscess and performance.

US Patent #5397279
The RBD Drive system is designed to overcome some of the many inefficiencies and losses associated
with geared drive applications. Applications in hobby, appliance and transportation vehicles can afford a new future for All Electric Technologies.
Designed with a powerful small motor technology, the RBD Drive offers low power consumption and superior rotary
torque conversion at extremely high rates of RPM. The system spent three years in extensive testing and prototype development. Designs utilizing 1 HP, 10,000- Rpm Dayton
Universal DC motors operating at voltages of 100 volts have been realized.
The performance of this unit is unmatched by any other motor system within it's size and power. The Following
chart contains the RBD's operating specifications for small motor performance. Units operating with 2.0 to 1 and 2.8 to 1,at 1 HP Input with Speeds of 10000 RPM, 100 volts,
at 12.2 amps (Full -Load) can be used for higher comparisons.

New Concept Direct Axel Drive Motor Technology

The two motors are both illustrated with front wheel drive axels inserted in the drive splines. The drive motor pictured on the left is the
gearless version that utilizes a 3 to 1 drive ratio. The drive motor pictured on the right is the geared version that also utilizes a 3 to 1 drive ratio. Utilizing 5
horsepower motors with a maximum input speed of 10,000 RPM, the drive motors would be able to produce 2200 wheel RPM at a rting of 15 torque horsepower per
wheel. On a four wheel drive vehicle this would result in a total of 60 horse power and vehicle speeds between 80 and 100 miles per hour. Utilizing10 horsepower
motors with a maximum input speed of 10,000 RPM the drive motors would be able to produce 2200 wheel RPM at a rting of 15 torque horsepower per wheel.
On a four wheel drive vehicle this would result in a total of 120 horse power and vehicle speeds between 80 and 100 miles per hour.
The drive motors are shown with harnesses going to the fuse box containing the electronic throttle modules. Each drive motor is
controlled by it's own separate electronic throttle control.with motor speed varied by the output of the main throttle position sensor module connected to the
accelerator pedel cable. These are part of a complete system package that is not only for new car installations but also as a drop-in installation package for
almost any front wheel drive vehicle. The package is designed to fit within the engine comparment of the vehicle with a minimume of original equipment modifications.

McCotter Technologies is offering to share this Gearless and Geared drive technology with Motor Manufacturers or
Companies willing to help fund their final development and testing in the area of All Electric Drive Technology. There is a need for Larger
DC motors in the 5 to 10 HP range with higher RPM ratings in the 10,000 RPM range. The market is presently open and offers great opportunities for marketing
potential.
