Roll
Out the red carpet! When 85,000+ come to town, that is exactly what
happens. Area businesses are more than eager to draw in Creation |
 |
| goers.
Harry, Tim, and the rest of the gang have worked very hard for many years
to make Creation what it is today. Ever since my first
Creation in 92, the festival has been my favorite time of year. This
year's fest was especially memorable. We got to meet up with new
and old friends and hang out for a week, and also listen to some great
musicians and speakers. |

| This is a view of
one of the largest stage setups around. This year the worship band
was set up on a separate stage by the big tv, which made for a very smooth
transition. The huge size of the stage makes it possible to setup
a lot of equipment ahead of time. |

Friday
and Saturday were two of our favorite days. We were able to get down
front for a lot of great music. Burlap to Cashmere has to be one
of the best live shows going. They were awesome. Jaci
Velasquez also did an awesome show. She has a very cool band, in
more ways than one. I thought the keyboard player was quite a trip.
Also the percussion player seemed to have a neverending supply of cool
looking things to rattle, shake, and bang. Jars of Clay was also
very good. They have really grown as a band. |

| Michael W. Smith's
was concert was one of our favorites. It was really cool that he
stayed for the candlelighting and played the piano. |
