So,
it's about that time again! Creation 2006 is almost upon. It's
hard to believe it's already time to start thinking about this year's plan.
Those of you with large groups may never stop planning.
Crank
up the forum and let's get excited for Creation 2006!
Before
I say anything about this year's festival, let we welcome you to the new
layout! Every year I have tried to so something different to reflect
a new year of the Creation Festival. This year I went all in on a
new layout. I was kicking ideas around and some just kind of came
together and then bam, I was unifying all of our Creation pages.
That's something I've wanted to do for a long time. I hope you are
able to find your way around fairly easy. Don't flame on me too bad
if some of the pages get confusing. I mostly copied pages and pasted
them into the new layout, with the necessary changes to make them fit.
Enjoy!
Onto
this year's festival. Big news on the lineup, right? Audio
Adrenaline has announced their retirement as a band, so this will be their
last performance at Creation. Maybe the good thing to come of this
will be more Third Day, or someone else moving up to a prime slot.
Are you excited for Stryper? I can't wait! It's great to see
them making efforts to attach themselves to Christian music as opposed
to having it the other way around. The Fringe Stage is huge this
year. I'm somewhat bummed to see Superchick playing there and not
on the main stage, but that means the Festival is growing! It also
raises the quality of the Fringe Stage another notch. I'm betting
the Fringe will see it's biggest crowd ever.
I love
camping out every year for a whole week under the stars. While it
was great to camp out in Section K and make use of the Shuttle, and be
close to the other sections of vendors, there's nothing like going home
to the hill. Hopefully we get to do that this year.
I
can't wait for the live DVD from Newsboys to come out. Hopefully
it will hit before Creation.
Stay
glued to the forum for the latest news, information, and ideas. Post
any questions you have and all us regulars will be glad to give you some
help.
2006
will be another awesome year. We're going to be there. Hopefully
you'll be there. For sure, God will be there. It doesn't get
any better than that. It's not far away now, but don't disappear.
Keep the excitement going. Before too long we'll be basking in the
sun and the Son!.
