| What the studio
offers students:
Students enrolled in the music program are given ample opportunity to use the studio for both learning and practicing the techniques of a variety of studio activities. The activities range from basic recording to mixing and mastering, as well as tape and cd creation, the use of computers and midi combined with live vocals and instruments, and the use of lots of other electronic goodies. Students will be enrolled in studio classes and also be given time outside of class to use the studio for class projects. They will also have opportunities to work and sit in on real studio sessions. Students are also afforded special rates and packages for using the studio for recording their own solo or band projects. |

offers the general public:
In addition serving the college community, Schoolhouse Recordings also has great rates and package deals available for artists, bands, and ministries outside of the college. Many local artists have used Schoolhouse for complete or demo projects. The studio also offers a variety of midi and production services. Midi and other recording work has been done at the studio for local radio programs. Schoolhouse Recordings is also a partner with Disc Makers, making special deals on Disc Makers' great services available to studio clients. |
| The studio
itself:
The studio is equipped with state of the art technology for live recording and midi work. ADAT and hard disk technology are among the recording options available. The layout includes the main control room, a vocal booth, and a large room cabable of handling drums, live instruments, and groups of singers. Another recent addition to the studio is the new mixing room complete with a new Mackie digital mixing and mastering system. Contact information is provided at the bottom of the page.
