Traditionally,
the parents of the groom handle the rehearsal dinner. It was Mom's
idea to go with something more unique. Since pizza is a major favorite
of the groom, it became the center of the dinner which also included pasta,
salad, and fruit. It was held at a Holiday Inn which was the only
place in the area that could accommodate such a combo.
Another
decision which we felt was a good one was to have the dinner before the
rehearsal. Our stomachs were not growling during the practice and
there was not any pressure to finish at a certain time.
A highlight
at the dinner was a display table which featured baby and childhood pictures,
graduation pictures, and a memory album created while we were dating. |
