John Cachel is a life member of the Ghost Research Society. He is a ghost and histories research for a several ghost clubs. John was with the GRS team in the Discovery Channel, The Real Ghost Hunters and a several Ghost Trackers Newsletters and Windy City Ghosts II book. He is a spirit photographer. Also, John does research on the Haunted objects (Dolls,etc),Crystal Skulls, Illinois Bigfoot and mystery cats. His other hobbies is fishing, aggressive in-line skate at skateparks and hiking to search for Sasquatch and mystery creatures!
Pamela and John Cachel are independent paranormal investigators.

By Dale Kaczmarek, and CHICAGO'S STREET GUIDE TO THE SUPERNATURAL by Richard T. Crowe. Here's a few places that you should check out. Don't forget to bring your camera with plenty of high speed films! They are not in order and have been listed randomly.

1.Bachelor's Grove Cemetery near 147th St. and Midlothian Turnpike in Midlothian. Ghost lights, ectoplasmic mists, white lady, darting red lights, faces, phantom house(extremely rare) and much more.
2. Hull House 800 S. Halsted in Chicago. Ghost lights, ectoplasmic mists,faces,several ghosts as monks and lady. you cant photograph inside the Hull House however you can try to photograph around the house and windows at night.
3. Robinson Woods near corner of the Lawerence Ave and East River Rd. in Chicago. Ghost lights, ectoplasmic mists, faces and sounds of tom-toms. Old Indian family buried.
4. St. Valentine's Day Massacre 2122 N. Clark St. Chicago, Illinois. On Feb. 14, 1929, the Bugs Moran gang was killed by rival gangsters dressed as Chicago police. Ghost lights, sounds of machine guns, ectoplasmic mists, and possible bad luck unless if you respect and left the property alone then you will be all right.
5. St. James Cemetery near Lemont (near corner of Archer Ave and 107th St.) Very old cemetery, too bad that we cant go there at night but try take plenty of photograph around old section down hill from old church but ghosts could be anywhere in the cemetery. If you plan go there, it is best to go incognito. Please respect the pastor and staff, they might not be too happy if they knew you were looking for ghosts. Ghost lights, ectoplasmic mists, monks, and several more ghosts.
6. Chinatown near downtown. Several suicides by hangings, poltergeist, and others that have caught fire and burnt to the ground mysteriously. Nun's ghost walking on the streets.
7. Red Lion Pub and Biograph Theater on Lincoln Ave. John Dillinger's ghost, coldspots and feeling uneasy in the alley by the theater. Several ghosts, footsteps and poltergeist in the Red Lion Pub. Good food!

Equipments for ghost hunters to use for ghost hunting
Camera with flash, at least 400 ASA films, plenty of films
Digital Camera with flash,at least 400 ASA if possible.

Raytek Raynger ST Temperature Scanner
Sony Camcorder with nightvision
Flashlight
Notebook,pen,plenty of batteries,extra clothes to keep warm at night, snacks
No alcohol, smoking, perfumes or aftershaves allow during the investigations. Alcohol caused increase negatives also people will not believe you when you saw something. In the haunted house, no smoking, perfumes or aftershaves will help us smell something. Cigars, perfumes and flowers (roses, etc) are common in the haunted houses.
Wear light clothing during the warm weather because you will get better chance to feel coolwaves and coldspots.
The Ghost Society to believed that the ghost clubs should include kids (15 or older) because they can be our ghost hunters for the next generation. Take kids for simple and safe investigation (NOT TOO HAUNTED) and let them learn about history, science, computers and much more in education for their experience.
