Old cemetery as early as 1830's until the last buried was in 1965. The last ashes was in 1989. More details about the Bachelor's Grove Cemetery are in Windy City Ghosts by Dale Kaczmarek, Haunted Illinois by Troy Taylor and Graveyards of Chicago by Matt Hucke and Ursula Bielski. Here's several spots in the Bachelor's Grove Cemetery in my experiences are near hole of a fence by the pond where I felt a coldspot for about 5 seconds until it was gone. It felt as cold as freeze but the weather was around 70's degrees! The White lady walked by the Fulton Tombstone and She also walked on the old road by the gate. Some faces in the tombstones and trees. Most faces are more noticable on photographs. Strange photographs like mists, faces, ghostlights and strands are seem to be about everywhere in the cemetery and I suggest that you should take a several roll of films and lot of digital pictures. Ghost lights, voices on EVP, coldspots are common in the cemetery. See ghosts in the Bachelor's Grove Cemetery is rare and I think the best chance to see them is to sit and quite. They are shy, angry or confusing. Most people came to the cemetery, walking around and take pictures then left. You need to sit and quite then you will see more than you think! Night is not allowing otherwise you will be arrested and fine, so it's not worthy to take big risk!

Novemeber 1, 1997, The weather was nice, cloudy and cool. I went to the Bachelor's Grove Cemetery. I useda high speed 3600 ASA Kodak black and white film and I took a whole of film around the cemetery. Just one strange photo that you can see above of this page. I put two same photo and you can see what I see as a lady with 3D face...eyes, nose, lip, probably hair and part of shoulder. I believe it is a ghost! It is very diffcult to be natural caused like you see imaging on clouds.

I used Olumpus C3020Z digital camera (1600 X 1200) with Hoya infrared 72R filter. You can see a dark figure just right of a large tree behind of the Fulton Tombstone. Some researchers told me that there's possible more than one figure in the picture. I found it at home when I reviewed all photographs. I got some other photographs at the same area but no figure(s)! I took about 80 infrared digital photographs and it is only one strange photograph on that day! John Cachel Oct. 2003
