Carla, with her husband Kyle, and two adult daughters, has lived in Grand Junction, Colorado since 1987.
She grew up near Houston, Texas, where she attended college, taught school, and married. Coming to the Lord as a teen, Carla pursued a wide range of interests and areas of ministry. After serving as a summer missionary, her activities in the local church included Children's Church, Sunday School teacher, and Youth and Adult Bible Classes.
Experience in acting came from private coaching, community theater, and workshops. Carla has written, adapted, and directed plays in schools and churches since the 70's.
Meeting Kyle brought stability and direction to both their lives. Together, they pursue the challenge God has given them, "to minister to the body of Christ".
In 1989, God began to graciously move over Carla's life, releasing her from shame, and igniting a passion for drama, with a new hunger to serve and glorify God.
She wrote her first monologue, "The Samaritan Woman" in 1992. After witnessing the deep impact this drama had on lives--even in its unpolished state--she continued to write, pray, and walk through effectual doors of ministry in several states.
Carla preaches, teaches, and ministers prophetically when opportunities are presented. Many have been drawn closer to Him through a heart of tenderness and worship.
