The application for the Fadness Engineering Scholarship and the Technology Scholarships recommendation are both online at: http://www.ghsFoundation.org/FadnessScholarship.pdf http://www.ghsFoundation.org/TechnologyScholarship.pdf Both are .pdf fill-in forms. I've set the due date for both as April 30, 2004. * NYLC - I've received and completed the grant paperwork from Councilmember Chavez' office and will turn it in to the City Manager's office on April 2. * EAST Conference Loan. It appears that the District came up with an additional $500 just before the EAST conference to offset the conference expenses, so we will be getting paid back very quickly. * HNVF Grant - We've completed another quarter and need to submit progress reports and a request for reimbursement , QRR, from the City. The QRR due date is April 10th. We've been lax about getting previous reports in by the due date because we haven't submitted reimbursement requests. We need to meet the deadline this time. * Membership - We've given away no additional Office Depot cards with memberships over the last month. We may need to reconsider the best use of the cards. Jim proposed a door-to-door membership campaign to coinside with the VEPCA neighborhood Garage Sale on May 1. In addition, Greg proposes a Flea Market in the Gunderson parking lot--space available for free to Foundaiton members. This may encourage some of the VEP members in more tucked away neighborhoods to join the foundation. VEPCA plans to do a whole neighborhood flyering a couple of weeks before the event. We should be able to get some publicity out with that flyering, especially if Gunderson students were to help deliver the flyers.
