Out of the fog, the Tower appears.
Enter.
A realm outside time and space
awaits you.
Long ago we were cursed to this
place. Once three, now one.
One a warrior at the height
of his prowess, Hawke.
One a witch at the peak of her
powers, Crystal.
The third an ancient power long
asleep, Tene-gelain.
Two sharing one soul. Distanced
by time and other lives.
Two sharing their lives with
companions of feather and fur.
Till the struggle with the Dark
arose.
Then the witch traveled back
to her previous life of warrior, accompanied by her familiar the wolf.
There she joined the Warrior and his hawk companion to fight the surging
power of Darkness. They discovered the ancient power and awoke it to their
cause. To preserve their worlds, the four living beings sacrificed their
oneness to be forever conjoined with the ancient power. Now only the being
of HawkeCrystal exists, mage, warrior, male, female, human, hawk, wolf,
power. One soul, one mind, shapeshifting form. Forever outside time no
matter what world visited. Touched by Darkness, nevermore of the Light,
always existing as one the Shadowed. Striving against the Dark, seeking
redemption. Joined by another as cursed as itself, the cat mage Brynn.
Together as Master and Warder of the Tower, aided by Geilt the great Hawk
and his small feathered brethren, they strive through the worlds assisting
the fight against their enemy, the Dark.
