"The Flying River Rat," a 1947 Piper Super Cruiser owned by Tri-Air at the Tri-County Airport, is the latest addition to Don Upchurch's "Dorothie" search equipment inventory. It is based at "Rat Landing," on Marshall Askew's property near Winton. Henry Joyner is the pilot. Henry, his wife Betty and all their kids are aviators. Henry is the chief pilot for Freeman Metals' Cessna Citation, a twin-engine jet, and also is a federal flying license examiner.
