Hi Jerry and Carmen,
Thanks so much for bringing my JUDGE-BOY home to me.
He is doing great and I am so IN LOVE WITH HIM...he is a sweetheart.
CAROL'S JUDGE
He was born to race and named LEGAL POWER
but now he's my JUDGE, the horse of the hour!
He got here tonight, the first time we've met
and I've waited a lifetime, his friendship to get.
He gave them his all, he them his heart,
He raced and he tried his begavest from each start.
'til he injured his ankle, the bone snapped you know,
they put him thru surgery, hoped he wouldn't be slow.
They raced him some more, but he wasn't the same
when he couldn't win, he was out of the game.
A disposable horse, that's what he'd become
A horse with no purpose, a burden to some.
He started that journey, the one where he'd go
from person to person then wind up so low
that he headed to SLAUGHTER, he was useless you see,
Until Nicole saved him to come home to ME!
Now he's worth MORE than any mere purse of gold,
more than any winner, any racer so bold.
His purpose is greater than when he started out,
His place in my heart makes me just want to shout....
JUDGE IS HOME!
It's 10:00 p.m. and we just got him home about 9:30. HE IS BEAUTIFUL!
I'm gonna go look at him some more and then go to SLEEP....I AM EXHAUSTED!
Tell you about him tomorrow.

Jerry & Carmen,
The mares are doing great, you wouldn't believe they were the
same mares that you brought to me. Both are now in foal for next year. The black
mare(still trying to think of a name for her) is at the breeder and doing well. They
specialize in breeding older mares. The chestnut, Zoey, is doing great also. The vet says
she needs about 150-200 pounds on her, only about 100 now. We turned her out in the big
field on grass and are giving her a special diet. They are doing wonderful and I can't get
over how calm and friendly they both are.
Most horses take longer to settle after such long trips, but the
mares have done just beautifully and
have settled right in with us. If I need a shipper, you will be the first I call.
Thanks again for hauling them for me.

Dear Jerry:
The horses are doing great!!! The only thing is that Honey the brown mare
threw my wife. The mare was frisky. And my wife was riding bareback and without the
right bit. She has three or possibly four broken ribs.
We were very pleased!!!
I hope your trip was enjoyable in DC. If you ever want to go to the mountains of
western North Carolina let me know. We have a 3 bedroom log home you could borrow.
Take care
Rene & Maria

| Greetings from Naples! I am back in Florida until July
16 and wanted to drop you both a quick note of thanks.
First, Hadeer is fine, he had no "van lag" and was his
perky self "rarin and ready to go". I held off on riding him until the
Sunday following his arrival...about three days...he never missed a beat.
Also, have not had any problems with him readjusting to real
pasture, he is out all night and in out of heat and flies most of day. I usually
find him sleeping, stretched out in his stall when I head into the office.
He says to say hello and thanks for the smooth ride...speaking of
riding I have been riding a LOT and enjoying my old riding haunts.
Thank you again for letting me ride along. You both do a
great job and run an excellent transportation service.
Please let me know if you need me to serve as a
reference. I would be happy too.
Thanks again for everything!
Warmest regards,
Sally and Hadeer
