8:54 PM 10/6/2006 machine has been taken to compusa to repair a nework problem that is not there problem.  Our ip address 192.168.1.132 is bad it acts just like a ip address that is not there.  I will discuss the ip addressing with pat on monday jag  

3:43 PM 10/10/2006 Got this machine back from compusa and they can see the internet and there local area network 
they were able to map a disk drive.  I set the machine backup on the Our Lady of calvary lan pat still had the same problem.  When using ip address 192.168.1.132 this machine will not let you see the computers on Calvary LAn with the
workgroup name of  calvary.  using the My network places then the view workgroup computers selection.  I took out the
hard disk which compusa just replaced and reloaded. and let it in the physical location of computer 32.  and move this 
computer to physical location 36 set the ip to 192.168.1.136 and name the computer olc36 and put the hard disc in this machine from the compter that was in location 36.  and it works seeing the calvary lan computers and the internet with no trouble as long as I do not use the ip address of 192.168.1.132.  it is something in the motherboard firmware or hardware I would suspect next but there is no need for anymore effort put in this machine it work as workstation 36
named olc36 with a ip of 192.168.1.136
