3:30 PM 9/25/05 touble with lcd screen going nuts  (power up in safe mode shift f8 during power up and let the machine power alll the way up in safe mode let it fix itself then shut down  then power up it may power up correctly if not put it in safe mode again

12:42 PM 10/8/05 installed microsoft updates via the aotomatic microsoft web  page that figurares out what needs to be updated automatically (amazing ) and shows a log of this machines journal of updates jag

7:05 PM 3/26/06 can not properly display calandar.com

the .cal files still won't open on this laptop and the jim05.cal file mysteriously
disapered on this laptop while experimenting with network the neghiborhoop on this laptop 
connected to via wireless networking which is amazing i might add the .cal files have not opened on this computer since i got it why  I have not a clue

7:24 AM 4/30/06 reinstalled windows due to display problem with lasale collage and windows 98 from them 
can not display the standard windows calendar.exe program 
7:25 AM 4/30/06 trouble with the display download the neograpic stuff and
set the display to true color 24  800 x 600 .  The display is pretty funky 
i do not know if it is hardware or software

9:34 AM 5/20/06 the display is a disaster area  got it to work at 16 color true bit at 640 x 480 and at least 100
power up and downs loading the hp driver pag\ckake the display graphis and the ide fix from hp's web page
i am cluless on the display on this thing 

```5:19 PM 5/29/06 got the laptop display to work loading the 5/20/2006 driver pick on the select driver
screen of the instillation set to laptop display 640x 480 and 16 color 640 x 480 ill trie dto upit 
now 

5:28 PM 5/29/06 windows set to dual display 1024 x768 laptop display and 256 colors 800 x 600 working ok 
but not a crisp picture trie to up it now 
the display driver is working correctly in dual mode it is even reseting without powering up and down 
it is set to a laptop display of 1024 x 768 true color 24 bit and 1024 x 768 pixels it is as sharp as can be 
excellent actually  the driver is the 5/20/2006 dirver selected when installing the other
is a 1999 driver and will drive you mad the file version is 4.11.01.5206.q2.06.02

8:02 AM 9/10/06 insta;;ed the neomagic xga driver and the machine booted up correctley

3:06 AM 12/25/06 video still going bezerk on power up set the machine to 256 colors   

9:06 AM 12/26/06 removed a memorry dimm for vidoe problem  will see this machine has had a crazy video problem since i got it 

11:30 AM 12/28/06 turned off sound via bios and laptop has no trouble with display via memory error or intu

7:57 PM 12/29/06 laptop powerud up and function corredctly with the sound disabled and the dvd player revoved
the crazy display problems have gone away since disabling the dvd and sound
