The items listed may not be comprehensive, but will hopefully help you a little

Do not bring a bike, especially if you live on Campus. There is not very many places  to park it,or to keep it locked up. You won't even need it that much anyways.

Don't bring to many items for your dorm room. They are very small and you'll be sharing it with another person. At the end of the year, you'll have accumulated twice as much stuff as you have brought.

Most people at the end of the Year, go in together with several people and rent a storage unit for over the summer. You won't be able to keep your items in the rooms, and after accumulating twice as much as you had brought you may not want to take it all back.

You should bring a computer if you have one, with a printer. Computers are hard to get, especially during end of the Semester Term paper time. The computer labs have hours of being open, so with your own, you can work anytime you want.

Computer warning. Do not use a disk in School Computer (or anyschool) then use it on your home computer. All Schools get waves of viruses, and most aren't pretty when they erase your 18 page term paper. Another reason to have your own computer.

E-mail is probably a must.   I've provided a link for FREE E-Mail listed above.

Bring a telephone. All the rooms have phone lines into them, Kolbe/Claire has two. So you may wish to have one and since you'll have your own line, maybe an answer machine.

TV's are not a must. You'll find that you will watch very little television at school. You'll either be studying or, when you do have free time you'll be with your household or friends just hanging out doing something. (there is so much else to keep you busy, and you will find a TV will just take up too much space in your room) There are plenty of TV's on campus anyways.

Stereo? I would. But you may not wish to bring your entire CD collection with you. Remember Space!

Games? I would bring some cards, and maybe a couple fun board games. Lots of people like to hang out doing things like that.

Supplies, like Soap, shampoo. That way if you don't have a vehicle, you won't be needing a ride to the store once a week.
