Reid Duffy

Reid is a native of Chicago and graduated from the University of Notre Dame. He has been in Indianapolis since 1971 working as a statehouse, political, and feature reporter for WRTV for 24 years and WNDY for two years. Reid is best known for his restaurant review on channel 6 under the title of “Duffy’s Diner” and currently writes restaurant review and dinning articles for several publications in Central Indiana. He co-authored a novel with Channel 8’s News Anchor, Mike Ahern, “Festerwood at 5”, and his latest book “Indiana’s Favorite Restaurants” is available at book stores and from the trunk of his car. Reid also teaches a course in news writing at Butler, is married to wife Loretta, and has two children- Megan and Matt.
