The Ragamuffin cat is famous for its mellow personality. They are a large cuddly breed with a plush, semi-long coat. The Ragamuffin is usually a lap cat that socializes well with people and other animals. They love to meet you at the door and are very puppy-like by following you around the house.
They definitely are an indoor pet. Their docile nature makes them vulnerable to outside dangers. They think everyone and every other animal is their friend. Therefore, they don't have the aggressive instincts that most other cats possess, so they must be kept indoors and protected.
