On Haste

         
         
         
   Hastily and well never meet. 
   
   
   
   Always in a hurry, always behind. 
   
   
   
   Hasty judjments are generally faulty ones. 
   
   
   
   Of hasty counsel take good heed, for haste is very rarely 
   speed. 
                                           
   
   
   Precipitate counsel --- perilous deeds. 
   
   
   
   Haste trips up its own heels. 
   
   
   
   Every one that is hasty hasteth only to want. 
   
   
   
   A hasty man is seldom out of trouble.

   
   
   The plans of the diligent lead surely to plenty, 
    But those of everyone who is hasty, surely to poverty.
