Originally routed from Cincinnati to Cleveland along current route 22
from Cincinnati to Washington C.H., route 62 from Washington C.H. to
Cleveland, route 3 from Cleveland to 6 miles north of Loudonville, route 226
from 6 miles north of Loudonville to 2 miles south of Wooster, route 3 from
2 miles south of Wooster to Medina, and route 42 from Medina to Cleveland.
In 1926, rerouted from 6 miles north of Loudonville to 2 miles south of
Wooster along new road and current routing.
6 miles north of Loudonville to 2 miles south of Wooster certified as
route 226 in 1926.
In 1926, routing from Medina to Parma changed to the current routing.
Medina to Parma certified as route 42 in 1926.
Cincinnati to Washington C.H. dually certified with route 22 in 1932.
Washington C.H. to Columbus dually certified with route 62 in 1932.
