Originally routed along current route 30 from Indiana state line to
Delphos, route 309 from Delphos to 5 miles west of Mansfield, route 430
from 5 miles west of Mansfield to Mifflin, and route 30 from Mifflin to
2 miles east of Dalton, route 172 from 2 miles east of Dalton to Waco, and
route 30 from Waco to West Virginia state line.
Indiana state line to Delphos and 5 miles west of Wooster to West
Virginia state line was route 5 before 1926.
Mansfield to 5 miles west of Wooster was route 10 before 1926.
Delphos to Mansfield was route 5 before 1932.
Delphos to Mansfield was route 30N from 1932-75.
In 1932, Delphos to Mansfield split into northern and southern routes,
with route 30N routed along previous route 5 and route 30S routed along
previous route 30.
