Sherrodsville to Dellroy was route 212 before 1926.
Dellroy to Wellsville was route 20 before 1926.
Wellsville to East Liverpool was route 7 only before 1926.
East Liverpool to Pennsylvania state line was route 5 before 1926.
In 1926, extended to Pennsylvania state line along a road paralleling
route 77 (route 21 in 1926) from Dover to New Philadelphia, an unnumbered
road from New Philadelphia to Sherrodsville, route 212 from Sherrodsville to
Dellroy, route 20 from Dellroy to Wellsville, route 7 from Wellsville to
East Liverpool, and route 5 from East Liverpool to Pennsylvania state line.
