Originally routed from Ottawa to Michigan state line 12 miles north of
Delta along current route 65 from Ottawa to McClure, route 6 from McClure
to 4 miles west of McClure, an unnumbered road from 4 miles west of
McClure to 2 miles south of Liberty Center, and route 109 from 2 miles
south of Liberty Center to Michigan state line.
Route 47 to Lima was route 318 from 1934-38.
Lima to Ottawa was route 33 before 1931.
McClure to 3 miles north of McClure was route 185 before 1931.
3 miles north of McClure to Perrysburg was route 110 before 1931.
By 1931, rerouted from McClure to Perrysburg along current routing.
Extended to route 47 in 1938.
3 miles north of McClure to Grand Rapids dually certified with route 24
from 1926-43.
