Before leaving Long Beach, in late 1998, the "Eco-Park" exhibits were video-taped by Whitcomb Video. Many unusual and rare creatures were displayed in the large "Red Barn" (in Shoreline Village), across from the Queen Mary.
Mark Cartland, President of the Endangered Species Zoological Society ("Eco Park") wrote:
"I was extremely impressed with the quality of the digital video and the skill with which Mr. Whitcomb utilized this medium."
The purpose of the society is to help people become aware of the value of the living things which are in danger of extinction. Even though the exhibits are no longer in Long Beach, the work of the society goes on.
