I find this one of the most fascinating flowers in Texas. The plant it grows on can reach 8 feet tall and is very delicate.  I have driven by them for many years but only noticed them last year.  The bloom period for this Texas Wildflower is July through October.  Other names for this wildflower are:  Bequilla, Colorado River Hemp, Sesbane, Coffee weed and Indigoweed.  The seeds from this plant are poison.
