This Texas Wildflower has many names:  New Deal Weed, Jara Dulce, and Poverty Weed.  This bush can get very large and has been know to take over if left alone to spread.  The bloom period is from October through November.  As the blooms stay on the bush they begin to look dirty.  This particular photo is of  the female plant.  The male plant looks somewhat different in bloom.
