Common Blackberry
 

I could not find this in the regular Texas Wildflower books. I did manage to find it in a book about eatable plants.  Being an old East Texas girl I just couldn't resist the Blackberry. (I can taste my grandmother's blackberry cobbler now.)  This photo was taken outside of Fredericksburg, Texas Spring 2000.
