Plantain Family - Plantaginaceae

This one is so easy to miss.  It's very small and delicate.  The bloom period is nearly all year.  Some of the other common names are:  Dooryard Plantain, Common Plantain, Whiteman's foot, Lanten and Great Plantain.  The name Whiteman's foot was given to it by the Indians because it was found growing in the ruts left my the wagon wheels.
