No, yellow one is not a bloom but I just couldn't resist. The end of this cactus seem to have a funny face. Thought you might enjoy it also. The Cholla will bloom from April through June. This Texas Wildflower is also called: Coyote Candles, Tree Cactus and Cane Cactus. The dead stems are used for lamp stands and assorted handicraft items.
