Henbit

Bloom period all year. This flower has a head start on all spring flowers. It can be quite troublesome if you want a weed free lawn. They seem to show up in lawns and gardens before the grass begins to turn green. Bees love the nectar. I have included this photo because of a request from a student that needed this flower for his project. Good luck!
