Low Bladderpod
Low Bladderpod

Lesquerella densiflora
Mustard Family - Brassicaceae

This Texas Wildflower is not completely open but the picture turned out so good I just couldn't resist using it.  In early spring when you see a spot of yellow amoung the brown you can usually find that is is one of the Bladderpods. This Texas Wildflower blooms from March through May.  The reason this one is called:  "Low" is because it usually on grows to 4 or 5 inches tall.
