Oenothera missouriensis
Evening Primrose Family - Onagraceae
This Texas Wildflower is also called: Ozark Sundrops and Evening
Primrose. One of the confusing things about calling a wildflower by it's
common name is that you will run into the same name on several flowers, just
like this one. That is why scientist have given each flower it's own
scientific name. The scientific name will not be found on any other flower
but one. This Texas Wildflower blooms from April through August.
