Sneeze Weed

Bloom period May through June. Also called Purple head Sneeze weed. The dried, powdered leaves and flower heads will cause you to sneeze. The plants are toxic to cattle. Because of their bitter taste most cattle don't eat them. This photo was taken outside of Fredericksburg, Texas - Spring 2000.
